Welcome to my page! I’m Lindsey Andrews, Assistant Principal at Cottonwood Elementary, a role I’ve proudly held since 2016. Born and raised in Dothan, I’m a proud graduate of Northview High School. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Collaborative Education from Troy University, I went on to complete a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida. I also hold certifications in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and a 6th-year equivalency in Career Tech.
In addition to my professional journey, I’m a proud family person. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Jarod, and we have a 20-year-old son, Ry, who’s following in my footsteps, pursuing a collaborative education major at Troy University. Our 15-year-old daughter, Keylyn, is a sophomore and a cheerleader at Cottonwood High School, and we also share our home with two dogs, Charlie and Tito, as well as two cats, Sassy and Gray.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, soaking up the sun at the beach or lake, and supporting our local community at CHS sporting events. I’m honored to serve our school and community and look forward to continuing to help our students grow and succeed.
